About Charles

My expertise in neuroscience and my natural love of animals has led me to this extremely rewarding career. During and after college, I held multiple positions that involved working with research animals. This eventually led me to be in charge of animal training in the University of Pittsburgh's top neuroscience labs, alongside some of the world's most brilliant scientists. It was my responsibility to design and implement ways to train animals to perform meaningful tasks in the reliable and precise way that that is desired for research, in as little time as possible, with minimal stress to the animals. I apply many of these principles with the dogs that I train today.

Curious people that saw the joyful yet obedient dogs that I trained began to ask me for tips and to train their dogs for them. Since then, I have given thousands of private lessons to help people improve the way they train their dogs. I have taken on the most difficult and dangerous cases that others failed at or refused to touch, with massive success!
